Zack Scott Heads to Nashville for New Opportunities

Casper, Wyoming-based artist Zack Scott is embarking on a month-long trip to Nashville, Tennessee, in search of new opportunities within the music industry. Known for his contributions to the local scene, Scott aims to expand his reach by auditioning at various venues, performing at open mic nights, and networking with industry professionals.

During his stay, Scott has identified key venues, including Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge, where he seeks to perform. His primary objective is to establish connections that could lead to future collaborations or return engagements in Music City, which is recognized as a central hub for the music industry.

In addition to networking, Scott is also working on a new project, following the release of his debut album, “Heathens,” in 2023. The upcoming work is expected to diverge into a poppier sound, featuring songs that were written concurrently with those on his debut but did not fit the previous project. He plans to record some of these tracks during his time in Nashville.

Scott’s musical journey began in his youth, influenced by family and neighbors who played guitar. Over the years, he has developed a unique sound that blends bluesy southern rock influences. His songwriting often draws from personal experiences, adding depth and relatability to his music.

Prior to his Nashville trip, Scott will perform at a send-off concert at Oil City Beer Co. on February 28, where local artists will join him. Proceeds from the concert will support his upcoming endeavors in Nashville, marking a significant step in his musical career.
