KBLX’s Elroy Smith Spotlighted in New Edition Movie

rfocus.org102.9 KBLX and Q102 in San Francisco, on behalf of Black radio says congratulations to our Program Director, Elroy Smith, who made music history. Elroy Smith was the first Radio Program Director and Radio Personality to play New Edition on the radio in the United States by breaking the record “Candy Girl” on the radio in Boston. Elroy was spotlighted in the New Edition movie seen on BET.  We also want to send a warm congratulations to New Edition for being awarded their star on the Hollywood walk of fame and for keeping R&B alive.
