“Empire:” Writers Help Round out Winning Concept

No matter what the naysayers say about image, (some of us are NEVER satisfied) Empire is still climbing the charts as an out-of-the-box smash and last night Fox News in LA showed a couple of the writers behind the show. Looks like it, most of the top shows on TV right now have black leads/or casts black writers and black creators. A well-known black actor told me recently “black actors complain about the lack of opportunities to work and while that is valid a majority of the ones complaining can’t act.” WOW. KUDOS to empire
