99.5 WYCD in Detroit Unveils New Weekday Lineup Changes

99.5 WYCD in Detroit, part of Audacy, has rolled out significant changes to its weekday lineup, with new time slots for some of its most beloved shows. Starting today, “The Rob and Holly Show,” hosted by the award-winning duo Rob Stone and Holly Hutton, will take over the afternoon drive slot, airing weekdays from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. ET. This shift marks a new chapter for the station as it delivers fresh, dynamic country content to its audience.

Meanwhile, Sean �Coop� Tabler, who previously hosted afternoons at WYCD, will move to the evening slot from 7:00 p.m. to midnight ET. Coop, a staple voice in Detroit country radio, is rejoining the evening programming after a few years away, ensuring the station maintains its local, familiar feel. His move back to evenings promises to reignite the energy with his engaging presence on Detroit’s Country Nights.

Additionally, the duo�s Friday Night Takeover segments will feature top country artists like Lainey Wilson, Chris Stapleton, Cody Johnson, and Jason Aldean. The show also includes a Top 20 Countdown, which regularly features surprise guest appearances from legends like Keith Urban, Kelsea Ballerini, Blake Shelton, and Kenny Chesney.

Coop, who has deep roots with the station, rejoined WYCD in 2020 for midday slots after hosting nights from 2010 to 2015. His new evening shift brings him back to a familiar and dedicated fan base, while he continues his work on multiple stations across the country, including Big 98.1 in Philadelphia, 100.7 The Wolf in Seattle, and Kiss Country 99.9 in Miami.
