Google Bard has just come up with a great extention that allows people, like me, who get WAY too many emails daily to summarize all the emails by using a simple pompt (@gmail then the request)

You can also search for things using the @gmail prompt like “@gmail give me all grants opportunies from the last 3 months” or “@gmail find the email from John Smith with the html code for affiliate advertising campaigns.” You can certainly use the standard Google search to find these things in Gmail but it will take a lot longer and Gmail, and to my knowloedge it doesn’t summarise yoru emails.

Save Time
A summarize email extension is a browser extension that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to generate a summary of an email. This can be useful for saving time and staying on top of your inbox, especially if you receive a lot of emails each day.
To use a summarize email extension, you simply need to install it in your browser and then open Gmail. (or if you are aready signed into Gmail you can simply type the prompt “@gmail’ in Bard)
Once you have opened Gmail, you can hover over the extension icon to see a summary of your most recent emails. You can also click on the extension icon to open a popup window that shows summaries of all of your unread emails.
Summarize email extensions use a variety of AI techniques to generate summaries. Some extensions use extractive summarization, which means that they extract key sentences from the email. Other extensions use abstractive summarization, which means that they generate a new summary that captures the main points of the email in their own words.
