Arnold Taylor’s SCMG Partners with ADA for Global Expansion

Arnold Taylor founded South Coast Music Group (SCMG) in 2014, leveraging his experience from major labels like Epic, Republic, Interscope, Def Jam, and Blackground Records. Located in Charlotte, North Carolina, SCMG focuses on hip-hop talent and has propelled artists such as DaBaby (signed to SCMG/Interscope) and Toosii (signed to SCMG/Capitol) to success.

SCMG has entered a global distribution partnership with ADA Worldwide, Warner Music Group’s independent label and artist services division. This deal provides SCMG’s roster, including emerging artists like Dustystaytrue, DeeYounginn, Luclover, and Big Mali, access to ADA’s global distribution network and services such as marketing, analytics, and music licensing.

ADA Worldwide’s president, Cat Kreidich, has expressed enthusiasm for supporting SCMG’s growth and helping its artists reach global audiences. This partnership marks SCMG’s first with a globally recognized distributor, enhancing the label’s ability to expand its artists’ reach.

ADA is known for its partnerships with independent labels like 10K Projects and Rostrum Records, supporting releases from international artists and facilitating partnerships for high-profile catalogs, including Daft Punk’s with TikTok and Peloton.
