Veteran Comedian, Writer and Radio Personality, Akintunde, has reached an agreement with Rejoice Musical Soulfood and Broadcast Affiliate Sales to distribute the 2 hour weekend show, The Akintunde Show (aka The Ak Show), and the The Rebirth of Comedy Laugh of The Day (LOD) daily comedy segment. The Akintunde Show features Akintunde and Co-Host, Comedian Corie Johnson, delivering lively conversation with celebrity guests �(Cece Winans, Chris Tucker, Roland Martin, Vickie Winans), comedy segments, �plus the best in Gospel and Inspirational music. The “�Laugh of The Days’ are :90 second comedy vignettes hosted by Akintunde delivering hilarious daily stand up comedy. Akintunde is a nationally known Christian Comedian with 20 years experience in stand up garnering scores of national television appearances (BET, TBN, TBS, The Word Network, The Mo’Nique Show).
He tours heavily having appeared on 10 national comedy tours in the past 5 years. He is a “Go-to” comedy writer with over 350 original television episodes to his credit (BET Awards, NAACP Image Awards, Showtime at the Apollo), recently wrapping 2 seasons as Monologue Writer for the BET late night series, The Mo’Nique Show, the last year as Head Writer.
