The McKamey Animal Center in Chattanooga recently shared a touching story on Facebook of a dog named Lilo who was reunited with her family after being found wandering with a note attached to her collar.
The note, written by the dog’s previous owner, stated that they were homeless with two children and couldn’t afford to take care of Lilo.
The shelter was able to assist in reuniting the dog with her owner and highlighted that they have connections with organizations that can help families experiencing homelessness.
