Vinny Brown was not just a great programmer; he was fun and had a great sense of humor. BK Kirkland: Talented, creative, successful. Maxx Myrick is the best. Lebron �LBJ� Joseph is a great programmer and excellent to work with. Gary Young is an amazing programmer.
Steve Hegwood brought urban programming into its modern era. Bobby Bennett BETTER be on this list. Terry Base is the greatest PD ever. Tony Gray is a leader of leaders. Derrick Brown is a well-rounded PD.
Skip Cheatham is a programming BEAST. G Wiz has consistently made 93.3 The Beat a top radio station in the Jacksonville market. Ron Atkins: I have the utmost respect for his professionalism and skill. Brian Anthony was an outstanding program director at Clear Channel.
Chuck Atkins is a great coach, supporter, and programmer. John Candy has taken several radio stations from the bottom to the top. Cy Young is straightforward, and I respect that. Andre Carson�s mind is 10 years ahead of the format.
Elroy Smith still listens to up-and-coming talent. Skip Dillard (WBLS/WLIB) is tenacious and understands the history of the format. Bobby O�Jay has been a huge influence on this generation of PDs.
Steve Crumbley�s ability to adapt across five decades of audiences speaks volumes. Eileen Collier�I�ve watched her grow. Terry Avery: Great PDs are like great football coaches. She�s like Roy Williams, but looks a lot better.
