Aretha Franklin’s sisgter Carolyn was also a singer who had modest succcess on the charts but worked with Aretha as a songwriter as well. Here she is teaching Aretha “Ain’t No Way” which was smash hit for Aretha. The late Aretha Franlin played piano by ear and could hear a song one time and create a melody on the piano. Carolyn died of breast cancer in 1988 and Aretha passed August 16, 2018.
