Memphis Chicken & Beer Festival – August 10

iHeartMedia Memphis announced today its sixth annual Memphis Chicken & Beer Festival presented by Lincoln of Memphis and Clubtails taking place Saturday, August 10th from 6 � 10 p.m. on the field of the Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium in Memphis. Tickets are on sale now at MemphisChickenAndBeer.com. A portion of the ticket proceeds will benefit local charity Merge Memphis.

In the past, the event has drawn more than 3,000 attendees. iHeartMedia Memphis stations K97, V101, WDIA, WREC, Rock 102, and 102.7 KISS FM will be promoting the event by letting listeners know all they need to know about the event. On-air personalities Big Sue, Mike Evans, Mic T, Stan Bell, Stormy Taylor and more will be on site hosting the event.

All attendees will receive a souvenir glass and beverage samples. The event is partnering with Ajax Distributing for all alcoholic beverages. Additionally, there will be live music playing all throughout the evening with live performances by the Marcus Malone Band and Twin Souls as well as DJ Mic Tee from K97.

Local restaurants will also have food available for purchase, with restaurants offering their best chicken cuisine in snack size portions for $2-$5 as well as their traditional menu for regular portion and price.

Memphis Chicken & Beer Festival restaurants include Smurfey Smokehouse, Suga Skins Pork Rinds, Gus�s Fried Chicken, The Genre, Dipsticle Artisan Gelato, The Chicken Mane, Trap Fusion 901, Queen of Cravings, The Taste of D�s, Hattie B�s Hot Chicken, South of Caribbean Island Food, Owens Bakery, CueGuard Smokehouse, Cherish The Day, and Smackers.

Sponsors for the event will include Lincoln of Memphis, Clubtails, Whataburger, US Air Force, Hattie B�s Hot Chicken, Fat Tuesday Downtown, Gus�s Fried Chicken, Choate�s Air Conditioning, Hayes Home Realty, Adam & Eve, Southaven CBD 901,Thrivent, T-Mobile, Wilson Embroidery, Kendra Scott, Bushwacker, and TN Roots CBD.

General Admission tickets are $42 (plus tax) per person, and can be purchased online at MemphisChickenAndBeer.com or at the entrance to the event if not sold out. The event is 21+ only. No babies or children will be allowed entrance.

Memphis Chicken and Beer Festival is proud to maintain a charitable component by contributing proceeds and collaborating with Merge Memphis and Clare�s House. Merge Memphis is a non-profit with a mission to serve the most vulnerable population in our community � underserved women.

Homeless women make up 34% of the homeless population in the Memphis area. Merge Memphis opened Clare�s House in June 2020, which is a 30-bed facility for homeless women in North Memphis. Connect with Merge Memphis and Clare�s House on their�website.
