Born in Albany, Georgia, raised in Fayetteville, North Carolina, a realist of street life and wanting more for himself and his family,rapper Mr. BJ has visions of growth and originality. Learning early on how to express his thoughts of his environment, he picked up the pen at the young age of eleven years old. Describing his style as hip hop soul, Mr. BJ will not leave you guessing what he is about. His words are his reality and truth. A lyrical pragmatist that refuses to waste his God given talent on the norm or to simply be accepted, Mr. BJ will always rep for the people with an edgy delivery and a West Coast influence that accepts no excuses, and laces it with a lyrical wordplay that helps the medicine go down.
With nomadic skill, Columbia native LB navigates an East Coast vibe accentuated with a Southern swag effortlessly in his lyrical delivery. Initially rapping with friends for fun, LB discovered he thoroughly enjoyed the art and found an outlet in writing music. A fan of all genres, LB refuses to be placed in a box of one particular flow and embraces versatility and the vast opportunities in exploring diverse musical styles. A creative hustler, LB isn’t one to be hindered by obstacles, teaching himself how to work studio equipment when studios weren’t readily available so he could continue to do what he loves.
Soulful and sweet, Da Heart has proven himself ahead of the crooner’s curve and fully embodies the moniker. Having lived out of his car at one time, he has shown the heart it takes to survive some of his trials and the determination he never let go of to overcome them. Starting out in the church, Da Heart has various influences that he’s looked to for inspiration. A true southern gentleman who’s lovable and riddled with charm that the ladies love.
