Ann Marie Licata Named CEO of iHeartMedia

iHeartMedia has appointed Ann Marie Licata as Chief Executive Officer of the Multiplatform Group, the largest of the company’s three operating divisions. She previously served as President of the Markets Group & Sales Operations.

The Multiplatform Group includes the iHeartMedia Markets Group, which operates more than 860 broadcast radio stations, as well as Premiere Networks, Total Traffic & Weather Network, the company’s live events and sponsorship divisions, and its enterprise business development and broadcast data services.

As part of the leadership changes, Bernie Weiss has been promoted to President of the Markets Group, overseeing operations across the company’s 160 markets. Weiss was previously Chief Operating Officer of the Markets Group.

The company’s other divisions — the Digital Audio Group, led by Conal Byrne, and the Audio and Media Services Group, led by Mark Gray — remain under their current leadership.

In the new reporting structure, Julie Donohue, President of Enterprise Development, and Julie Talbott, President of Premiere Networks, will report directly to Licata.
