Casper, Wyoming-based musician Zack Scott is set to embark on a month-long trip to Nashville, Tennessee, in May. Known for his contributions to the local music scene, Scott aims to explore new opportunities in the heart of the music industry.
During his time in Nashville, Scott intends to perform at various open mic nights, audition at local venues, and network with industry professionals. He has already identified several popular locations, including Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge, where he hopes to showcase his musical talent.
In addition to performing, Scott is also working on a new project that will follow his 2023 debut album, “Heathens.” He plans to record and potentially release an EP of new songs during his visit. This upcoming project is expected to have a poppier sound compared to his previous work, which was characterized by an outlaw country style.
Scott’s musical journey began in his youth, inspired by family and friends, leading him to develop a unique sound that blends bluesy southern rock with personal storytelling. As he prepares for his Nashville venture, the Casper community will host a send-off concert at Oil City Beer Co. on February 28, with proceeds supporting his trip.
