Since 2020, global streams of Australian artists have surged by 69%, indicating a transformative shift in how local music reaches international audiences.
Among the standout performers, Sia has made history as the first artist to achieve the top position on Spotify’s Global Impact List twice, with her collaboration on ‘Beautiful People’ emerging as the most-streamed Australian song internationally in 2025. Tame Impala also demonstrated strong export performance, with seven tracks from their latest album ‘Deadbeat’ making the Top 50, including ‘Dracula’ at number two. The Kid LAROI continued to showcase his global appeal, placing seven tracks on the list, including ‘I know love’ at number three.
