Universal Music Group (UMG) has announced the renewal of its strategic multi-year agreement with NetEase Cloud Music, a prominent music streaming service in China. This new deal follows their previous agreement from 2020 and allows for the distribution of UMG�s extensive music catalog across NetEase Cloud Music�s platform and related digital services in China.
As part of the agreement, NetEase Cloud Music will distribute UMG�s global catalog, featuring both local Chinese and international artists, across its streaming services and associated digital products.
The partnership will also focus on collaborative marketing campaigns and product innovations aimed at enhancing the fan experience, while promoting domestic Chinese artists alongside UMG�s global talent.
