New Studio Launch in Albemarle
ALBEMARLE — The Stanly County Chamber of Commerce has announced a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house for the new Clefnote Music Group studio, set to open its doors in Albemarle. This event is scheduled for January 23 at 11:30 a.m., taking place at 502 Cherrywood Lane.
Clefnote Music Group, LLC, is a fresh player in the music production scene. Operating under Southgate Artist Management, LLC, the studio positions itself as a versatile partner for musicians. They emphasize a range of services including recording, mixing, mastering, and music business strategy.
But it doesn’t stop there. Clefnote aims to provide artists with support that extends well beyond traditional studio offerings. The studio will assist with everything from registration and copyright management to sync licensing, marketing, and distribution.
Adding to its credentials, Clefnote Music Group has formed a partnership with Sony Music, granting them access to a wealth of resources and connections within the global music industry. This collaboration enhances their capacity to truly support artists and help them grow.

At the helm of Clefnote Music Group are Preston “AP” Duffield III, the president and CEO, who also takes on the role of lead producer and music strategist, and Donna “DeeDee” Duffield, co-owner and CFO, managing the financial side of things.
