Will.I.Am Slated to Release “Will Power”

will.i.amMulti-platinum producer and songwriter will.i.am has announced that he will release a solo album entitled #willpower on April 23 on Interscope Records. The first single, “#thatPOWER” featuring Justin Bieber is available on iTunes today and the video, directed by Ben Mor, will be released next month. Additional songs on #willpower include tracks with Britney Spears , Hit-Boy, Waka Flocka Flame, Lil Wayne, Diddy, Chris Brown, Miley Cyrus, Skylar Grey , Juicy J, Eva Simons, apl.de.ap, Baby Kaely and 2NE1.

The album includes the multi-platinum selling single “Scream & Shout,” featuring Britney Spears , as well as “Scream & Shout (Hit-Boy Remix)” featuring Britney Spears, Hit-Boy, Waka Flocka Flame, Lil Wayne and Diddy. Produced by Lazy Jay, “Scream & Shout” has sold over 2.5 million singles and has racked up over 164 million views on VEVO. The single reached #3 on both the Billboard Hot 100 and Top 40 charts.
