(Houston, TX – September 22, 2011) – Music World Gospel Recording artist Le’Andria Johnson’s debut CD, The Awakening of Le’Andria Johnson, remains at #1 on the Billboard Top Gospel Album chart, with more than a 20 percent increase at retail during the second week of release. The Awakening of Le’Andria Johnson also lands at #1 on the Christian Music Trade Association’s (CMTA) Current Gospel Overall chart and #3 on Billboard‘s Top Christian/Gospel Album chart. The CD enters at #8 on Billboard‘s Independent Record Label chart, #29 on the Billboard Overall Digital Albums chart and #24 on Billboard 200. This week, Johnson’s new single, “Jesus” is #3 on Billboard‘s Overall Best Selling Gospel Digital Single chart.

This week, Music World Gospel’s duo Trin-i-tee 5:7 lands at #5 on Billboard‘s Top Gospel Album chart and #25 on the Top R&B/Hip Hop Album charts. Music World Gospel holds two Top 5 positions on the Billboard Top Gospel Album chart with Trin-i-tee 5:7 and Le’Andria Johnson. Trin-i-tee 5:7’s current CD release, Angel & Chanelle debuted at #1 on both Billboard‘s Top Gospel Album chart and the Top Christian/Gospel Album chart. The CD also entered at #2 on Billboard‘s Top R&B/Hip Hop Album chart, #5 on the Independent chart and #19 on the Billboard 200. Angel & Chanelle marks the group’s 7th recording to date. The Deluxe CD features 17 songs. This week, the ladies shot their third video and single, “Bring Your Praise,” produced by Fred “Uncle Freddie” Jerkins III and Imani “IZy” Pressley. This song will get the praise party going with its urban contemporary beats, hip-hop vibe and hard hitting message about praising God.

Le’Andria’s new single, “Jesus,” remains at #23 this week on Billboard‘s Hot Gospel Song chart �with plus 25 spins. The single is on Billboard‘s Most Added List #26 on the Gospel Indicator charts. A live video version of Le’Andria performing “Jesus” at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Nashville, TN (Bishop Joseph W. Walker, III) is now available on YouTube (see link below).
