The industry is talking about 103.9 in New York. Many are trying to figure out what’s next for the station now that PD Ken Johnson has exited for another Cumulus property in Birmingham. Many PDs and I have had discussions about the format in that market wondering if the station would be a good candidate for Classic Hip-Hop. No word on whether a new PD will be coming in or a format change is in order.
Terri Avery’s name has been mentioned to us several times over the last week. We’ll keep you posted on both stories.
