Another day another story about race as it is has reared its head again in a lawsuit filed against Sean “P Diddy” Combs’, Revolt TV. Five white men who produced broadcasts of The Breakfast Club Radio Show morning show starring Charlamagne Tha God, DJ Envy, and Angela Yee, allege in papers filed in Manhattan Supreme Court that they were victims of reverse discrimination. Douglas Goodstein, Todd Baker, Michael Schiff, Richard Wilson, and Jason Preziosi charge they were mocked by African-American executives after being hired in Jan. 2014 because they didn’t get “the culture.”All the producers previouslyworked for “The Howard Stern Show” before serving their tenure at Revolt TV.

Theproducers, who are allover age 39, say they were “treated worse than other employees who were younger and African American.”Goodstein also claimed that Val Boreland had “animosity” toward white people, and took exception when Val Boreland’s brother reportedly called him “old guy” and told him “Caucasians harbored racism against African-Americans.”Goodstein also describes a scenario in the suit where he feels he was targetedbased on his age and ethnicity. He spoke on a situation whenmanager Cherisse McKenzie, who Goodstein said he complained to when a guest did not appear at the studio on time. McKenzie allegedly said that “he just did not understand the ‘culture’ of the show’s guests and on-air personalities.”In Goodstein’s opinionMcKenzie “was clearly referring to African-American culture and/or African-American hip-hop culture, which she assumed Baker did not understand because he was Caucasian.”The producers were fired in December of 2014 and replaced with a younger team according the the suit.

We will follow this closely to seed what comes of it but at this time Revolt TV has not released any statements.
