The agreement allows NetEase Cloud Music to distribute UMG’s global recording catalog, which includes both local Chinese and international artists. The partnership will also involve collaborative marketing campaigns and product innovation, with a focus on responsible AI practices.
In related news, YeaH1 Group and Sony Music have launched SYE Holdings, a joint venture aimed at promoting Vietnamese artists internationally. The initiative includes the debut of the boy group Uprize, formed from the reality show ‘Tan Binh Toan Nang.’ Kenny Ong from Sony Music emphasized the commitment to sustainable careers for Vietnamese artists.
