Pharrell & VA Gov. Declare Juneteenth Paid Holiday

Pharrell held a press conference with Virginia’s Governor Northam to announce Juneteenth as a paid state holiday but vows this is only a start. “This is about proper recognition,” said the Virginia born multifaceted producer. We will see if other states follow this movement or possibly the federal government as well. Stay tuned.
