Marc Lamont Hill Joins Staff at Morehouse College

Congrats to Marc Lamont Hill in his new endeavor at Atlanta’s Morehouse College. The college made the announcement:

“We are excited to announce that Dr. Marc Lamont Hill is joining the faculty at Morehouse College this Fall.

Dr. Hill will serve as Distinguished Professor of African American Studies. He comes to Morehouse from Columbia University.

Dr. Hill is one of the leading intellectual voices in the country. An award-winning scholar, he has published four books, including “Beats, Rhymes, and Classroom Life: Hip Hop Pedagogy and the Politics of Identity” and “The Classroom and the Cell: Conversations on Black Life in America.” Dr.

Hill is the host of HuffPost Live and BET News, as well as a political contributor for cnn. He is the former host of the nationally syndicated television show Our World With Black Enterprise. Dr.

Hill has received numerous prestigious awards from the National Association of Black Journalists, GLAAD, and the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences.”
