Facebook User Info Offered for Sale After Hack

1.5 Billion Facebook User’s Personal Info Compromised?

Facebook user’s personal info has allegedly been making the rounds for sale by hackers asking for as much as $5000 for 1 million FB users personal info. People have sent money and have not gotten the info according to Newsweek.

The hacker’s info appears to be legitimate after her of she sent samples to potential buyers and it has been verified as recent and authentic. The info included Facebook account: name, email address, location, gender, phone number and user ID.

Facebook, Instagram and What’s App are all down today this coming afer a whistleblower named Frances Haugen came forth on a 60 Minutes interview with massive allegations against the company. There is no evidence that the two situatons are related.
