DJ Ruckus

In 2001, DJ Ruckus’ radio journey started at Norfolk State University‘s station WNSB, where his very first mixshow, “In Da Zone”, became a Friday night staple in the Hampton Roads area. After becoming the go-to DJ for Hampton U, Va Union, and Elizabeth City Universities, Hot 91 named Ruckus “Mixer Of The Year” in 2004. After graduating from NSU, Ruckus held a mixer position at WWHV Hot 102, but a move to Fayetteville, NC landed him a job working for WZFX, Foxy 99 as a mix show DJ on the Saturday Night Spin cycle from 8p-12a.
