Cox Media Group (CMG) Jacksonville TV, which includes WFOX-TV and WJAX-TV�(WJAX is owned by Hoffman Communications and operated by CMG), announced that John Palmer will become its new Director of Sales on Monday (March 16).
Palmer has been with the stations for more than 21 years. Over the last 11 years, he�s been the Local Sales Manager, where he led the team to record-breaking revenue sales and growth.

Jacksonville TV is perhaps best known for Action Sports Jax 24/7, the first-of-its-kind sports network focused on covering local sports, including the Jacksonville Jaguars and all other local professional, college, and high school sports. The network debuted one year ago – in March 2024.
Innovations like this, in addition to the stellar ratings for both WFOX-TV and WJAX-TV, are valuable for connecting with new clients and serving existing ones, according to Palmer.
