Philadelphia, PA- Effective Tuesday, January 20, 2009 1pm (EST) 107.9 WRNB gave the city of Philadelphia what they asked for, which is a radio station that features a music mix of the 90â„¢s and todayâ„¢s R&B.   After doing an extensive research study it was found that Philadelphia listeners were craving for a more contemporary urban adult radio station instead of your traditional urban ac.   Therefore 107.9 has responded with a new fresh and exciting sound for 107.9 WRNB, Philadelphia artist like Boyz II Men, Jodeci, Babyface, Maxwell, Mary J Blige, Mint Condition and others will now define the new sound and direction of 107.9 WRNB.
