RappeR&Beatbox afficianado DJ Biz Markie or Marcel Theo Hall (April 8, 1964 � July 16, 2021), died this evening from complications of Diabetes. he had been ill for a while and suffered a stroke. He was 57. At the time of his death, he was with his wife Tara Hall.

Biz was most famous for his hits “Just a Friend” and “Alone Again, Naturally.” He was sued for using a sample of the song’s writer and singer Gilbert O Sullivan. A rep told TMZ “We are grateful for the many calls and prayers of support that we have received during this difficult time. Biz created a legacy of artistry that will forever be celebrated by his industry peers and his beloved fans whose lives he was able to touch through music, spanning over 35 years.

He leaves behind a wife, many family members, and close friends who will miss his vibrant personality, constant jokes, and frequent banter.”
