BMI�and the Music Row community piled in the lobby of BMI Nashville yesterday (8/28), to celebrate 19 Recordings/Wheelhouse Records/BMG�s�Chayce Beckham�s first-ever No. One hit, �23.� The solo-penned chart-topper hails from the American Idol winner�s debut record,�Bad for Me, and earned him his first nomination at the CMT Awards earlier this year for Breakthrough Male Video of the Year.

One as a BMI songwriter, Roberts presented him with a custom Taylor 210e DLX guitar. Continuing the celebration, sponsored by Studio Bank, Ron Cox gave a special donation presentation on behalf of Beckham in support of the American Cancer Society. The afternoon concluded with Wheelhouse Records� Ken Tucker presenting the hit songwriter with a plaque celebrating the Platinum certification of �23.�
