ASCAP Invades CMJ

The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) will host its annual showcase as part of New York’s yearly CMJ Music Marathon on Wednesday, October 22nd. Designed to give on-the-verge bands an intimate platform to showcase for both fans and the music industry, ascap Presents: CMJ 2014 features a diverse mix of ascap talent from around the globe.ascap Presents: CMJ 2014 takes place at The Studio at Webster Hall, located at 125 East 11th Street, New York, NY. Doors open at 8:00pm.

Admission is free with a CMJ badge, or $10 at the door. Tapped to perform this year: Norwegian singer-songwriter Aurora, German synth-pop trio Ballet School, the mysterious Australian electro-soul act Hoodlem, atmospheric LA-based indie rockers Line & Circle, Brooklyn electro-pop band Little Daylight and the Los Angeles funk-disco quartet Mosco Rosco.
