Real stylists like Porsche Hensley, who has been braiding hair for over 10 years and owns Divine Innovation 615 in Nashville, are affected. Hensley reported instances where clients arrived for appointments, only to find out they were scammed.

Precautions to Avoid Scams

BBB advises not to pay for the service in full before the appointment. Visit the stylist’s location before booking. Verify the stylist’s work by searching for them online and including the word “scam” after their name. Ask for the stylist’s license number and verify it.

Despite the scams, stylists like Porsche Hensley remain undeterred and continue their work.

Stone Mountain, GA, It’s time to celebrate once again with “The 5th Annual Night Under the Stars Birthday Bash With Carlos Coleman and Friends” taking place Saturday, July 28th, 2007 in the Peace Garden at the Tupac Amaru Shakur Center for the Performing Arts starting at 6:30PM. The event is a celebration of another year of life and working with great business supporters and is designed to promote the Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation, via entertainment, production and media. This event is an ALL white affair. In the past, high profile influencers that have made appearances included: The Lopez family, NFL players such as Chris Draft, Christopher Williams, Case and Emperor Searcy along with the Shakur family.

In addition to the grand festivities, Carlos Coleman and TASF staff wis supporters to recognize and support the end of the Performing Arts Day Camp where the “9th Annual Production Shoulders of Giants Starring Pac Kids” will be held on August 4, 2007 @ 7:00 p.m. at the Rialto Theater in downtown Atlanta. This event is sponsored in part by The Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation. The Pac’s Kids annual program is a 4 week intense training period that culminates into a closing ceremony production. This year’s closing ceremony will feature Pac’s Kids theatrical performance entitled “Shoulders of Giants”. In support of the Pac’s Kids performance, Carlos Coleman will be hosting.
