A New Text-to-Speech Tool Puts Performance First

Voice-Swap has rolled out Voiceover Studio, a text-to-speech platform aimed at content creators, advertisers, and marketing professionals. The company frames the release as significant because it positions the tool around authentic performance, offering creators more command over how lines are delivered than typical AI voice systems allow. Its purpose is to let voice content be produced at scale without losing the nuance, creative intention, and professional representation that anchor the workflow.

Established Voice Actors Anchor The Initial Lineup

The starting voice library draws on seasoned voiceover professionals whose past work includes projects for NBC, Comcast, the NFL, the NBA, and the PGA, along with video games such as League of Legends and The Walking Dead. To build this first batch, Voice-Swap teamed up with The Sheppard Agency, an organization it calls a well-established name in the voiceover field. Additional voices are expected to join the catalog as time goes on.

This setup embeds real, human voice performers into the core of the platform instead of reducing AI voice generation to an unnamed, interchangeable service. According to Voice-Swap, the offering is constructed around talent who have professional representation, with the goal of enabling on-demand voice production at scale that still stays rooted in genuine human delivery. The company draws a distinction between this model and competing platforms that depend on unnamed, generic voice models.

Ownership And Licensing Stay With Each Performer

Central to this rollout is how rights and licensing are handled for every AI-generated voice model. Voice-Swap states that each performer keeps ownership of the AI model built from their voice and sets the commercial terms under which that model can be licensed for use. As a result, the talent retains an active say in how their voice gets deployed, rather than ceding full control of the model to the platform itself.

The company additionally positions the launch as a means of opening fresh income streams for voice actors while simultaneously giving buyers the ability to produce voice content in greater volume. Its aim, as stated, is to allow scaling of voice output without compromising on performance quality, subtlety, or creative vision.

Fresh Features Sharpen Control Over How Lines Are Read

Voiceover Studio ships with a set of tools designed to shape exactly how a script gets performed. A feature called Takes produces as many as three different readings of the same script at once. Another, Sections, lets a single script be broken up so that different portions use different voices, delivery styles, or paces. Performance Lock keeps a selected delivery style intact across multiple generations, ensuring the results remain consistent and repeatable. Meanwhile, a Pronunciation Dictionary gives users the ability to set custom phonetic spellings for brand names and industry-specific terms.

These capabilities push the platform well past the functionality of a standard text-to-speech engine. It’s built so teams can experiment with, polish, and lock in a consistent voice performance across creative projects where uniformity is essential. Voice-Swap says the tool is meant to enable large-scale voice production while preserving the natural qualities that make a voice sound authentic rather than flattened out.

No Listed Price, But A Free Trial Is Offered

The announcement of the launch does not specify pricing for Voiceover Studio. It does note, however, that anyone can start using the tool right away, with an initial allotment of 1,000 free characters. Nothing in the launch materials references any acquisition, funding round, or other corporate deal.

More broadly, Voice-Swap describes itself as an AI voice transformation tool aimed at musicians and creators, offering expressive AI-generated voices for use in media, marketing, and storytelling. Voiceover Studio pushes that same direction further, creating a dedicated workflow specifically for professional voiceover work, built on adjustable delivery options and voice models backed by real talent.
