The song, which marks his second No. 1 hit from his debut album What Not To, made Wetmore the 14th artist in history to land his first two singles at No. 1 within the same calendar year.

The celebration, hosted by BMI and ASCAP, brought Wetmore together with his collaborators: Josh Miller (BMI), Summer Overstreet (BMI), and Jordan Reynolds (ASCAP).

They gathered to honor Miller’s 7th No. 1 and Reynolds’ 8th, while also celebrating Overstreet’s first No. 1 as a BMI songwriter. Taylor Guitars’ Gina Venier presented Overstreet with a custom Taylor 210e DLX guitar in recognition of the achievement.

In addition to the musical celebration, Wetmore and the songwriters made a special donation to Face the Fight, with Ron Cox of Studio Bank presenting the gift.

Guests also received a bottle of Green River Whiskey, the new official whiskey for BMI No. 1 parties, in honor of the hit.
