Police Release Video of Passengers who Rob and Beat Cabdriver in New York, Fatal Punch Kills the Father of Four (video)

Police in New York have released a video of the beating of a cab driver who pursued passengers who refused to pay him and got out of his car at their stop around 6:30 am. They released the video in the hopes that the public would identify the suspects who were caught on camera at several different angles.

The 52-year-old cab driver and father of 4, Kutin Gyimah, was beaten by a group of men and women, then one of the men punched him in the head, causing him to fall backward and hit his head on the concrete. He died from that injury.

Two of the male suspects turned themselves in to the police. The women have not turned themselves in and are being pursued by the police. A GoFundMe campaign has been set up to help Gylmah’s family.
