Kicking off another chapter in style, Afro-fusion star Omah Lay just delivered a standout performance on NPR’s Tiny Desk in honor of Black History Month. This also notably marked his debut on the series. Watch HERE.
Joined by a full live band complete with background singers, he served up a scorching performance of tracks including his current single “soso” as well as fan favorite “understand.” As part of NPR’s Black History Month programming slate, he joined a stacked lineup of R&B, soul, jazz, gospel, rock, and hip-hop luminaries, concluding the four-week run with his inimitable take on Afrobeats.
