Janelle Monae was spotted at the airport by TMZ and she states that Kim Burrell will not be performing on the Ellen show for her segment from the Hidden Figures soundtrack this week. Burrell has drawn more ire than support for her extreme vitriolic rant in a video taped in her church against homosexuals in the black church. She was allegedly addressing a homosexual in her church that shouted “Yaaaaaas” during her sermon and her support for shouts quickly turned to scorn when she discovered there were gay people in her church.
She went on a rant about how homosexuals who brought that spirit in God’s house would not make it past 2017 as part of her rant. Ellen is one of the most widely known out lesbians in the entertainment industry.
