Earlier this month, the three-student School of Business and Technology (SBT) Case Competition Team and their advisor worked extremely hard to represent Huston-Tillotson University at the Alley Shark Tank event at Southern Methodist University in Dallas. Their hard worked garnered them a second place finish!
Of the 14 teams participating, four teams were selected for the semifinals; these teams included:
- Huston-Tillotson University
- University of Arkansas
- UT – Arlington
- Texas Southern University
At the finals, HT performed admirably and represented the University well. The final results were:
- UT – Arlington: 1st Place
- HT – 2nd Place ($2,000 prize)
- TSU – 3rd Place
- Arkansas – 4th Place
