Tough year for Jermaine Dupri

It’s been a rough year (12 months) from Jermaine Dupri. His restaurant shut it’s doors in Atl with former employees who signed non disclosure agreements dogging him and saying their checks were no good and now Reps at Def Jam are tight-lipped but the word is in the yard. Jermaine is out.

We mentioned a couple of months ago that there were problems with Janet signing and then leaving the label unceremoniously with Jermaine at the helm of the deal. Now sources report that Jermaine has not been showing up for meetings or canceling, which may or may not be indicative of a termination but we also hear he has not been seen around the Def Jam NY offices for a while either. No word on the fate of Tag records.
