Dial Global Creates Distribution Services

Dial Global announced today the creation of Dial Global Distribution Services. Using a state of the art digital satellite distribution system and a large installed base of satellite receivers in every market, Dial Global will provide distribution services for third party companies seeking to distribute their audio programming regionally or nationwide.

To support this new division of the company, Dial Global has hired broadcast veteran Dee Perkins, formerly with Westwood One, in the newly created position of Distribution Sales Manager. In her new role, Dee will work with Dial Global’s distribution clients to make sure all aspects of their experience run smoothly, from proposal to getting on the air with the network.

“The creation of this new division allows Dial Global to leverage its existing satellite infrastructure to service third parties with network distribution needs,”� said Conrad Trautmann, EVP Technology. “Dee brings with her unrivaled experience, excellent customer relationships and a complete understand ing of all aspects of distribution technology.”�

Perkins will be based in New York, overseeing all aspects of the company’s brokered satellite distribution business. “Dial Global’s satellite distribution platform offers groundbreaking options for new and existing clients,” said Perkins. “This is a great chance to create new opportunities and partnerships while expand ing Dial Global’s business.”

No stranger to new technology or radio, Perkins spent the last five years communicating and innovating with thousand s of stations as a technical affiliate relations expert and satellite sales manager for westwood one.
