As it celebrates 130 years of music history,Gibson, the iconic global instrument brand, has shaped sound across generations and genresof music for over a century, becoming one of the most relevant, played, andloved music brands around the world.
Developed from original drawings discovered in theGibson Archives, theGibson Theodore Standardis based on a guitar design sketched in 1957 and was only previously available as a limited editionGibson Custommodel that quickly sold out in 2022 as part of theGibson Archive Collection.

Today,67 years later, Gibsonis proud to introduce theTheodore Standard, now available as a global wide release atauthorized Gibson dealersand viawww.gibson.com.
Its not every day thatGibsonreleases a new body shape. Inspired by original drawings from 1957-during the same era when the legendaryES-335, Flying V, and Explorermodels were designed to modernize theGibsonproduct lineup-theGibson Theodore Standardfeatures amahogany body, scimitar headstockwithGrover Mini Rotomatic tuners, andstriking double Florentine cutawaysthatprovide unimpeded access to all 22 fretson therosewood-capped, SlimTaper mahogany neck.
The balanced construction is exceptionally comfortable, and thepowerful 57 Classicand57 Classic Plus humbucker pickups produce effortless sustain and a rich diversity of tones.
While it was sketched in the 1950s, theGibson Theodore Standardis fresh and modern today, and the instrumentslight weight, balance, and comfort make it a joy to play. TheGibson Theodore Standardis available worldwide inAntique Natural, Vintage Cherry, andEbony. A hardll case is also included.
