Jesús Omar Tarazón, a Mexican songwriter, was awarded Regional Mexican Songwriter of the Year for his work on four of the most-performed regional Mexican songs of the year. These included chart-toppers such as “Altamente Probable,” “Qué Maldición,” and “Somos Los Que Somos.” Tarazón’s poignant songwriting and melodies resonate deeply within the regional Mexican music community, solidifying his reputation as a leading voice in the genre.
Song of the Year Honorees
