SB19 Hits 1B Spotify Streams Before Homecoming Show

SB19 just hit a major milestone with over 1 billion Spotify streams. They’re wrapping up their trilogy with a big homecoming show.

MANILA, Philippines — P-pop sensation SB19 has officially surpassed the impressive mark of 1 billion streams on Spotify, marking a significant achievement in their musical journey. This milestone solidifies their status as the most-streamed Philippine boy band in Spotify’s history, a feat recognized and celebrated by the World Music Awards.

In a recent social media post, World Music Awards commended the group, stating, “Philippine Superstar Boy Band, SB19, has now surpassed 1 BILLION streams on Spotify across all credits!” With this remarkable achievement, SB19 continues to set new records and captivate audiences worldwide.

As part of their ongoing momentum, SB19 has announced their much-anticipated homecoming concert, titled “Wakas at Simula,” set to take place on April 18 at the SMDC Festival Grounds. This concert is a culmination of a trilogy of performances, and the group expressed their excitement, stating, “Daming sakuna, ‘di ko ininda, andito na tayo sa wakas,” which translates to, “So many trials, I didn’t back down, we’re finally here at the end.” This sentiment resonates deeply with their fans, who have supported them through thick and thin.

The concert announcement comes on the heels of their successful “Simula at Wakas” world tour, which concluded last December after stops in Australia and New Zealand. Over the course of this tour, SB19 journeyed through 19 cities, promoting their third extended play, also titled “Simula at Wakas.” This project completed a trilogy that began with their earlier releases, “Pagsibol” and “Pagtatag,” showcasing their growth and evolution as artists.

As SB19 continues to break boundaries and reach new heights within the music industry, fans eagerly await their next move. With a dedicated fanbase and a string of successful projects behind them, the group’s future looks bright.
