This summer BET launched an exciting new music series titled “GREY GOOSE ENTERTAINMENT AND BET PRESENT: RISING ICONS,” which profiles eight of the world’s most talented and gifted musicians. R&B artist KERI HILSON is featured in the next episode which premieres Monday, August 17 at 10:30 pm*.Keri Hilson, part of a collective of writers and producers known as “The Clutch,” is known for her songwriting and production skills as well as for the strong emotional quality in her voice. Signed under the label Zone 4/ Mosley Music Group and Interscope Records, has produced her first solo album titled “In a Perfect World. . .” which debuted at number four on the Billboard 200 and number one on the Top R&B/ Hip-Hop Albums. Her collaborations, beginning in 2001, include co-writing songs for multiple rappers and singers including, Britney Spears, Ciara, Ur and Ludacris. She has also made cameos in music videos for Ur’s “Love in This Club,” Ne-Yo’s “Miss Independent,” and guest performed on Timbaland ‘s hit “The Way I Are.” Hilson was nominated at the 2009 BET Awards for Best New Artist, Viewer’s Choice for “Turnin’ Me On,” Best Collaboration for “Turnin’ Me On,” and Best Female R&B Artist.

Vevo announced it has acquired Showyou, a pioneer in the delivery of curated streaming video that connects viewers and creators.
"With the acquisition of Showyou we take a significant step forward in re-positioning Vevo as a best-in-class product-driven organization," said Erik Huggers, President and CEO, Vevo. "Showyou allows us to accelerate our pace of innovation with the ability to rapidly add new and differentiated features as we iterate our products in 2016 and beyond."
Showyou was first launched in 2011 with a focus on creating applications for mobile, TV and the web that made content discovery, curation and consumption more intuitive. In 2014 and 2015, Showyou added tools and services that allow creators and viewers to connect through subscription and transactional video-on-demand models.
"With the streaming media segment still very much in its infancy I believe we have a tremendous leadership opportunity in front of us as we combine forces and become part of Vevo," said Mark Hall, Founder and President, Showyou.
