Earlier that day, Asia Society Southern California held various panels for their Entertainment Summit, entitled “AWE (Asian Women Empowered): Changing the Game of Gaming”, “Timeless Iconic: Japanese IP Driving Franchise Forward” and “Godzilla Minus One BTS” with Oscar-Nominated VFX Supervisor & Writer/Director Takashi Yamazaki and Producer Kenji Yamada.
The afternoon also consisted of an AWE (Asian Women Empowered) luncheon honoring CAPE (Coalition of Asian Pacifics in Entertainment) Executive Director Michelle Sugihara, Crunchyroll COO Gita Rebbapragada, and Tetris CEO Maya Rogers.
