Last Thursday, September 17th, Funk Flex, Rob Stone, Monte Lipman & Felicia Swerling hosted a tribute to Steve Smith at the new Republic Records Studio in New York.

Steve Smith was a pioneer in hip-hop and a former Program Director of Hot 97 / New York (1993 – 2003).
