There are too many “David’s” (not the real name) in this industry. I sent a quick email to a programmer this morning by mistake telling him ‘how sorry I was that his gig didn’t work out.’ His name was David, not his real name, I MEANT to send it to someone in another industry with the same name who just got fired. The programmer sent me a text message back saying that he just had a meeting with his GM and they had planned an event, he had no idea…. I had to crack up laughing and apologized for the error.
