Today, Sony/ATV Music Publishing announced it has signed rising country singer-songwriter, artist, and four-time Golden Guitar nominee Brad Cox to a worldwide publishing deal. Brad will be collaborating with the company’s creative teams in both Nashville and Australia.

Hailing from Jindabyne, Australia, Brad Cox has quickly made a name for himself in the country music scene with popular singles including “Rusty Strings” and the hit song “Give Me Tonight,” which amassed over 4 million global streams. His recent single “Drinking Season,” co-written by Brad and Dan Isbell, one of Luke Combs’ collaborators, has already garnered over 1 million global streams. Brad also released a new song in Australia on October 16 entitled “Short Lived Love,” and the official music video was released on October 23.

Brad Cox rose to prominence in 2018 with his self-titled debut album, which featured top singles such as “Red Light,” “Too Drunk to Drive,” and “Lake House,” as well as the crowd favorite “Water On The Ground.” Since then, Brad’s career has continued to rise on a global scale, earning him opening spots for prominent artists such as Brett Eldredge, Jon Pardi, Randy Houser, Adam Eckersley and Brooke McClymont.
Among his many accolades, Brad’s debut album was nominated for two Golden Guitars for Contemporary Album of the Year and New Talent of the Year, as well as the 39th Toyota Star Maker award in 2018. In 2020, Brad secured two more Golden Guitar nominations with his single “Rusty Strings” for APRA AMCOS Song Of The Year and Apple Music Single Of The Year.
