Her Debut Album

With the release of “Keep It To Yourself,” Laura’s dream of continuing her family’s musical tradition was realized. Her debut album, produced by Texas jazz piano icon Brian Piper, brought a fresh twist to standards and obscurities from the ’20s onwards, with critics praising her “satiny, impossibly old-fashioned voice”.

Recognition and Success

Despite minimal publicity, her debut album made it to the JazzWeek Top Radio Airplay chart. The respected Jazz Inside magazine also featured Laura in a rave lead review in its annual “Vocalists” issue.

Continued Success

Following the success of her debut, Laura began recording her follow-up, “Necessary Evil,” featuring tributes to her favorite composer, Johnny Mercer. She continues to keep sophisticated music alive, believing that her father would be proud of her dedication to the genre.
