    On the heels of “Wale: I am From” and “The Year of Pharrell,” REVOLT is proud to present the Brooklyn Boheme” in honor of Black History Month. “Brooklyn Boheme” provides an intimate portrait of the black arts movement that exploded in Fort Greene, Brooklyn from the mid-1980s through the 1990s as told by acclaimed writer, , historian and Brooklyn resident Nelson George and co-director Diane Paragas.”REVOLT is proud to honor our first Black History Month on the air with the of ‘Brooklyn Boheme’,” said Val Boreland, executive vice president of programming and production. “The is a brilliant portrayal of the contributions have made to American art – including , design, filmmaking, writing, photography and spoken word artistry.”Originally aired on Showtime, “Brooklyn Boheme” features appearances from iconic Spike Lee, Chris , Rosie Perez, Branford Marsalis and poet Saul Williams.
